Federation European Command
Greece, Peloponnese Peninsula, Tripoli
"Your action plan is approved. Proceed if you feel it is necessary. I do not want to force a major escalation but with the entry of Macedonia to the conflict the battlespace has been further complicated. As well our current forces are as of right now inadequate for a long-term prolonged war and we do not know the direction the UN is going to move as of yet. You have unilateral authority to take what measures are necessary to defend the radar installation - Federation High Command is not going to allow for the installation to be lost, following Action Order 12. All civilian transports are away and non-essential personnel are en-route to greek airports for exfiltration to Federation borders."
"We will not be issuing a formal declaration of war. Just engage if you feel the need to. You have one satellite of which is passing in the next hour of which will allow for you to drop a total of six Rods. Use them wisely. If we apply it right they won't even be able to scramble aircraft to react without a delay."
"Understood." Magnus replies. "That's all I need to know. Closing the line." He'd switch it over, the line automatically closing as he does, as he would then rouse various unit commanders up. He'd as well raise the commander of the Federation air station and the radar facility it was connected to, ordering all of them to condition one and to prepare to be engaged, and to engage in hostilities against Yugoslavian forces. He'd bring them to their highest level of alert, and activate every unit he had near to the border and as well, within striking distance of Yugoslavian forces. He did the governments of both other nations a service in warning them of what was going to happen, but he didn't really make it a choice - more so a politely worded FYI.
He began to move helicopters loaded with infantry and supplies out of Greece, and sent them to Montenegro, moving them towards the radar station to reinforce it and as well, he began to move a battalion of mechanized infantry with support from three companies of exoskeleton infantry as well, the helicopter transports being accompanied by gunships and as well, getting there ahead of the helicopters by about an hour, would be various heavy lift transports, a total of four of which would try to land as close together as they could to take off as close together as they could as well, with their escorts of Federation air force fighter craft keeping watch over the corridor in the skies for them, about twelve or so F/A-14s and six F/A-15s in 3 squadrons.
Offloaded from the heavy transports would be a total of three Sheridan Light Tanks, TOW missiles, ammunition and water supplies, food and other war materials. Brought in from nearby and as well on the helicopters, a few light fighting vehicles, Humvees and two APCs with top mounted light and heavy machine guns would take up position in the base. When the helicopters arrived, they would offload about 200 or so men total, the twelve transport helicopters discouraging their supplies as well before they began to fly back for home, the gunships settling on the tarmac for the moment to refuel and perform any last minute repairs and safety checks before they'd take off again.
To the south at the border of Greece, the Federation battalion would be joined by the only armor the Federation had available at that time, and as well the artillery. Sixteen M1A4 Kasrkin MBTs carried by transporter trucks, and then six Cerberus MLRS vehicles, and then a number of supply vehicles. The mechanized infantry and as well the exo-infantry that were hitching a ride with them as well would finally begin to cross into Macedonia and start to make their way to a staging point, with the rest of the helicopters they were willing to commit being brought in. Two Federation AWACs would enter Montenegro's airspace as well, with the Federation Navy starting to filter into the Mediterranean from the South, a drone carrier and three missile destroyers, with a cruiser as well, making their way towards the coast of Montenegro, though still some distance away and unlikely to arrive for the main show.

A dim lit room in central Rome, a meeting of some of the top leading military and political officials in Italy. Notably absent... the king and prime minister, mere pawns in the great geo-political game of life. They did not need to be here, thus, they weren't. At the head of the table was the Il Duce himself, a military cap casting a shadow over pitch-black eyes.
He sat motionless for several minutes. Other officials shuffled documents, even talking between themselves, but the room remained quiet enough to hear the clock ticking away in the corner.
He abruptly slammed his fist down on the table, which gave a resounding thud loud enough to shake the room. He then lifted his hand, slowly flexing it to make sure it was uninjured. It wasn't hard to see why, he had left a solid dent in the table's surface. The room was once more silent, but everyone was at attention. The Il Duce cleared his throat, and spoke,
"I have had damned enough of these Balkans! The little, miserable blobs of Montenegro and Macedonia, perfect prey for the hellhole of Yugoslavia. And those stupid Americans intervening, sailing ships into our Adriatic!"
"Yes Il Duce, but we shou-"
"No more exceptions, no more waiting! The seas should be ours, the skies should be ours, the lands should be ours. Instead, no one gives a fuck about Italy, despite there being a total war right in our backyard! We will show all of them. We will discuss plans for immediate entrance into this war, and we will show the world that Italy is here, and Italy will dictate the affairs of the Adriatic. We are the heirs of the Roman Empire and the Papal States, nations that ruled the known world for thousands of years. We will rule it once more!"
The room erupted in a collective shout of 'Ave!', accompanied by a Roman salute by every official except the Il Duce.
"Now, those that are unneeded here, leave, now. You will be notified of what you need to know when you need to know it. As for the others, let us talk."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There was a buzz of activity in the Adriatic. But to likely everyone's surprise, it was not Yugoslav, or Montenegrin, or anything else that had seen thus far. It was Italian troopships, ferrying the Italian military into Montenegro. Thousands of marines and light infantry, countless dozens of fighters, SAMs, MBTs, and a dozen missile destroyers securing the shoreline and its many towns. Herceg Novi, Budva, Pretrovak, and the villages in between. It would look like an invasion, if not for what came next. Alarms blared, messages sent by loudspeaker and radio, one unified message in many languages:
"This is the Italian Peacekeeping Force of the Adriatic. We are here to defend the Montenegrin populace from unwarranted Yugoslav attack. Our current focus and concentration of security forces will be the Montenegrin coastal regions. We will cooperate with the Montenegrin government to coordinate our defenses. Please notify the Montenegrin government and Italian Peacekeeping Force Civilian Support System if you desire to enter or leave the Montenegrin coastal regions, normal travel will be suspended for the duration of the current emergency. All suspected and proven Yugoslav contributors will be detained for questioning. Thank you for your cooperation."

Yugoslavia now boxed in and surrounded by multiple enemies, with Jakov at the helm and not wanting his plan squashed by an occupation holds with the assembly. From now on, Order. 203 Was to be enacted and carried to all soldiers of the nation. No soldier was to step back or retreat without explicit Order of a SO. As intel leaked in from both Montenegro and Macedonia and the war bumped up in hostility and impact. Yugoslav intelligence, a part of the reforming State Security Administration, informed all military branches of Federation movements. In response, a high yield nuclear weapon was now on stand-by from an unknown location in a last-case scenario. Including prioritized air force jets scrabbled to underground and hillside bunkers. In attempts to protect Yugoslav assets and resources from a "Federation Air-Strike," as the Joint Chiefs of Staff stated, reserve units were fully mobilized and enacted within the branch. Furthermore, Yugoslavia would put critical military resources made or stored into randomized and often scrambled to underground complexes to keep away from Federation eyes. With supplies transported in unmarked or labeled containers.
Yugoslavia would follow with its Joint Chiefs of Staff in a mass combined arms push into Montenegro. The push would force Montenegrin logistics to snap and encirclement in the North as Group B in Montenegro, desperate to end the war, went hard and fast. A few miles north of Bioče Yugoslav armored cores and motorized companies flooded the highways. It led to an overwhelming onslaught and massive full-scale retreat of Montenegrin troops down to the actual town where Yugoslav troops kept fighting logistics and with Podgorica insight—following as their spearhead sustained and assisted by transport planes and increased trucks brought from reserves.
Group B2 in Macedonia. Now were ordered to maintain defense, at first as Macedonia's assaulted the line and were rebelled. However, military command set orders and changed quotas. A full-scale spearhead was ordered and gripped Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. Relentlessly Yugoslav troops besieged and entered the outskirts of the city as tanks rumbled through highways and avenues. Jets and bombers attacked any important defensive or military position spotted as Skopje went up in smoke and fire from the constant onslaught.
Currently, Yugoslavia didn't contact or engage with Italy on their 'peacekeeping.' However, except for a Yugoslav minesweeper approaching the vessels and pulling off as they viewed their flags and weapons.
Yugoslavia was engulfed in total war, as told in a speech by Jakov. "The Motherland must fulfill her destiny, and we as the people must satisfy it. The enemies lay at our gates and attempt to besiege and hinder us. Therefore we will do ANYTHING to prevent our opponents. We will do ANYTHING to make them flee, and we will do ANYTHING to protect our Motherland. Yugoslavia is now in total war, and we will stand at our gates and aid her with every tooth and nail."

Soon as Jakov returned home from his meeting in Zagreb, he stood by his word of anything, and all troops in Macedonia pulled back from across the borderline and once again stood on the defense. Barely any Macedonian entered Yugoslavia as troops fought frenzied and like mad dogs from reports to defend the borderline.
Montenegro also had a decent outcome as Yugoslav troops began to slow down and halt at the gates of the Montenegrin capital city. Air attacks didn't let up on their military; Yugoslav aircraft still implemented a precision strike doctrine. The Joint Chiefs of Staff added layers of radio communication in the air force to avoid unneeded damages to the civilian population. Then as the standstill occurred, news began to leak from Montenegrin Bosnian lands of atrocities committed by the Montenegrin administration. Yugoslav authorities discovered an array of "Re-Education camps." Reports also revealed a select few Montenegrin officials captured by Yugoslavia admitting to such crimes as they called the devastation. "To stop the Bosnian population from inciting a large-scale rebellion in Northern Montenegro. Yugoslavs also believed during the war, significant ranks of Montenegrin added harsh punishments to the local people during the war. Unfortunately, for Yugoslavia, even with evidence, claims that were for now questioned somewhat due to the history of the Balkans.
Yugoslav troops in the Bosnia regions are also in a weird show of force-initiated relief immediately after confirmed reports, and the UN told of the news. For now, Yugoslav troops were going to stay in Montenegro with no signs of leaving the region, but it grew hazy of who the "aggressor" was for now.

[OOC: I am not able to provide much right now, especially since I need to get to bed for another 11-hour shift tomorrow, but just so you're aware of what the Macedonians are doing.]
The Macedonian Air Force would continue to strafe the border, firing at anything remotely military looking that got too close. It would cycle in three shifts, ensuring a constant watch of the border.
Further in but still close to the border, artillery batteries would be lined up, providing a protective barrier in case its needed while troops entrench themselves along the border, preparing to defend their Montenegrin neighbors.

General Magnus would be staring again at the screen of which showed his own forces, now arrayed in a few set areas along a highway of which would be favorable for speed and easy extraction of any asset that was worth taking out by truck and transporter and not by helicopter or transport aircraft. The Federation navy had entered the Mediterranean proper and now had entered range for both the use of cruise missiles, and as well for the lone escort carrier to use its contingent of sea-lift aircraft for transport if he needed to. He'd gotten informed that the UN ambassador was going to deliver the statement, he didn't really consider there to be a need to wait however. He gave the order for the airlift to begin.
The Federation Army elements he'd sent out would be mostly arrayed as a defensive implement at that time, not really in any positions for an offensive to be viable, and their numbers only made them a token force as it stood anyway. Cerberus Artillery had been set up, and they were positioned to provide cover for a fair distance against attack. A few SAM sites had been put into place and some AA vehicles positioned as well, though most of their AA would be reliant on MANPADs. The area just inside of Montenegro's border, on the edge of Macedonia's, would be a checkpoint for Federation forces to inspect their equipment and tend to anyone who might be wounded or so.
He had decided by now the facility was going to be destroyed by their own hand than left to be captured and fought over by people who didn't even know how to use it otherwise. He couldn't do much more than ensure the destruction of the facility anyway, with so few troops at his disposal that had any combat experience he wasn't about to waste their lives if he could avoid it. He had gotten higher ups attention as well. While allowed to maintain a defensive posture and to act if he had to he wasn't going to be attacking anything, he hoped.
At the installation itself and the airbase attached to it, a general tear down was underway. Commandeered civilian vehicles from the facility itself and as well military transport vehicles and aircraft were being loaded with anything worth getting rid of. The Navy had dispatched four Seahawk helicopters, modified Black Hawk helo's for naval use, to the base as well. Federation military aircraft like the Apache's would patrol the perimeter, with as well armored vehicles keeping the base under their guard. They'd ship out complex computers they could disassemble for such, weapons, ammo, missiles, and then anything else if they had time.

Before long the Federation had extracted the majority of material from the base, and as well it had destroyed anything sensitive that could not be moved. But it was as well aware of the base's two main components and it was going to do something about that as well.
The massive Federation army convoy had left the base when the last airlift had taken some of the final material they had considered worth removing and taken it by sea to the federation navy escort carrier off of the coast, and now it began to move south towards Greece, with no intention of stopping, and as well with a rather active CAS group providing it support round the clock as they moved southbound. They made an effort to avoid taking any roads that'd put them in danger, but as they left the immediate danger area in northern Montenegro, a single Humvee had stopped.
Two minutes after, the Federation base would go up in smoke, as almost 20 tons of high explosive would be detonated inside of the radar facility, along the runways, in all of the bunkers, and as well would destroy every building and anything sensitive that could not have been removed and was overlooked, or was simply valuable and the Federation didn't feel like letting anyone inherit. The base was effectively reduced to a burning ruin, and before long the Humvee was speeding away to rejoin the convoy. The other Federaiton facility in Montenegro similarly was evacuated, though not destroyed as it was only a supply depot - once everything in it was moved it was abandoned and left empty.
