Federation Marine Corps
The Federation Marines are the branch of service dedicated to establishing beachheads, rapid response actions, offensive spearheads and maritime combat duties that do not call for the deployment of warships or involve the clearing of hostile surface vessels or besieged cargo craft. The Federation Marines are the smallest branch of the service but one of the most difficult to get into, and as well one of the most brutal with a high turn-over rate in basic training. They are a no-nonsense force and work closely with every branch of the armed services, though none so much as the Navy.
Their motto is:
"Semper Fidelis, Semper Vigilans, Semper Paratus."
