Shogun Shogun Dame Nova Knight is the chief-of-state, chief-of-government and commander-in-chief of the Falklander Armed Forces. Nova Knight was appointed 3 years ago at the age of 18. Like previous Governor-General's she was raised as the replacement from birth. She was trained extensively in all matters military and political and served as Acting Shogun when the previous Shogun fell ill. When she was 16 she lead a search and rescue team to the south pole, saving a scientist team that had gotten trapped in a blizzard. For this she was given a knighthood. As Shogun she holds near limitless power but has delegated it to the Executive Council and the Legislative Council.
